i•strategies was formed from a desire to help local governments, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations succeed within a sea of change. With more than 35 years of experience in executive and management leadership roles across several Ontario municipalities and not-for-profit associations, i•strategies founder Robin Dunn has a wealth of skills and experience to help your organization steer through any challenge.
Robin understands how local governments and small businesses work. He has extensive knowledge of municipal operations and administration, is known as a governance professional, and possesses the skills to deftly liaise with municipal councils and professional boards. Having worked to help build and incorporate a Municipal Services Corporation (MSC), Robin also has a keen understanding of the steps involved in setting up and effectively operating a small business corporation.
Robin promotes strategic planning and performance management that align work objectives with corporate strategic initiatives, and advocates for continuous improvement and leading practices that optimize value for money.
Robin holds a Master of Arts in Leadership & Management, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Strategy & Innovation, and certifications in LEAN Six Sigma Continuous Improvement, Alternate Dispute Resolution, Change Management, and DiSC & 5 Behaviors. Robin is also credentialed as a Governance Professional and Certified Engineering Technologist.
